Band

We offer four Band classes at Southside:
1. Sixth grade beginning band
2. Symphonic Band (Woodwinds Section)
3. Symphonic Band (Brasses Section)
4. Symphonic Band (Percussion Sectional)
Students are allowed to participate in sports and other extracurricular activities as well as Band. Each band member must provide his or her own instrument, as well as a yearly band fee, in the amount of $40.00. This fee is due each year by October 15.
Each band presents two concerts each year. The first concert is before Christmas and the other is in the spring. Each band participates in at least one festival. For further information and weekly updates, please see the Band website.
